Why Early Dental Visits Matter for Your Child.

Bringing your child to the dentist early is key to setting them up for healthy habits that can last a lifetime. We recommend scheduling their first visit to our kids-foused and infant dental office in Aurora, Colorado within six months of their first tooth popping through—or by their first birthday, whichever comes first. Early visits help prevent serious oral health issues, teach good brushing and eating habits, and reduce dental anxiety by getting kids comfortable with the dentist from the start.

What to Expect During an Infant Dental Visit

Our infant dental check-ups are designed to keep both parents and babies at ease. During the visit, Dr. Holmberg gently examines your baby’s gums, jaw, and new teeth to check for cavities or developmental concerns. You’ll also get tips on how to clean your baby’s teeth and advice on fluoride, if needed, to help protect those tiny teeth as they grow.
